A beautiful sunset created in part by Forestry Tasmania, the government department that oversees logging in Tasmania's forest. A common logging practice in Tasmania is to bomb native forest with napalm. The charred land is then replanted with genetically modified eucalyptus trees. The low quality wood is then used to produce pulp for foreign paper markets. The smoke from this burn in April 2008 created an outcry from concerned citizens.
